Modern Light Fixtures. There are certain areas of a home where you may need strong lights for illumination. Moreover, there are those areas where a warm glow of a light can work wonders. In addition, to make this happen suitably there are different kinds of light fixtures available.
Large light pendants over the kitchen table can make a bold statement in a room. The pendant could be big enough to take up most of the table top if it is a round table, or add drama to a large rectangular shaped one. They can come in many colors and patterns to help go with the look of the space. You can have one match a certain color in the kitchen or use it as a focal point in the room.
Too much light is also the mistake that many homeowners make in selecting bulbs for their chandelier light fixtures. More is not always better especially when you are trying to create a certain atmosphere with rustic chandeliers. Rule of thumb is to take the room dimensions (12`x12`= 144 square feet) and multiply this total by 1.5. This will give you the total watts necessary for the space (216 watts). If you have 6 bulbs, select the lower of the bulbs available (30 watt as opposed to 50 watt). You can always add matching wall sconces to make up the difference if needed.
