Bathroom Light Fixtures Explained. Light fixtures for bathrooms can be the simple light bulb holder with the pull down chain. Those bathroom light fixtures are the easiest to maintain as the bulb can be changed when burned out without the need of unscrewing glass enclosures. The bulb found in many upscale bathrooms usually in a long row of equal size bulbs are actually screwed into bathroom light fixtures. The fixtures are the brass or copper covers of the live wires that connect the light bulb to the electric circuit.
Pot lights under the cabinets are a popular source of lighting. Many people have them installed or buy kits to do it themselves. It is fairly easy to set up, but for anyone who prefers electrical things to be done for them, you can easily have an electrician come in and set them up. They usually run about a foot apart and hide neatly in place. No wires are seen and the appearance is nice and tidy. At night when the pot lights are turned on, there is enough light from them, to light up most of the space, but most people keep a few extra light fixtures on just to have more lighting.
There is nothing warmer and more comforting then the feel of soft glowing pot lights. When these fixtures are perched up on the ceiling of a kitchen space, they can tone down the brightness that can sometimes go along with a kitchen. Instead the lighting is glowing with a warm cast.
